Curious and with a keen interest in other cultures, she naturally gains inspiration on an ongoing basis. Growing up in the construction industry, designing was natural for Maaike from a young age. She created her first interior design in 2003. In the process, the enthusiastic occupants of a pre-war villa provided so much spin-off that its clientele quickly expanded. Many projects followed at home and abroad.
